There is an exciting wave of young professionals, who I believe are going to take the business world by storm and knock down the doors the generation before have only managed to edge open. This next generation while they are exciting, they threaten to make those who are not as advanced feel like they are playing catch up to keep up. They are nimble and move at lightning speed and their use of data and insight is no exception.
One area in which they are leading is by administering the successful union of primary consumer insights and big data. They either work for companies that have developed or are developing large composites of data used as revenue generators, to glean insights to grow their own business and for their business partners and clients.
By successfully synthesizing sources and mass amounts of data the pictures being developed of the world are moving from the traditional 2D flat-screen to HD, 3D. We have a lot to learn from this next generation and their use of primary consumer research and big data.
