Learning Outcomes:

  1. Attendees will become aware of the 3 prevalent types of native advertisements and learn to spot them.
  2. Attendees will become aware of the importance of Native Advertising techniques in the online advertising environment - leading them to recognize the importance of establishing a budget for Native Advertising efforts.
  3. Attendees will gain information pertaining to the online habits of millennials in general, along with information regarding their specific interactions and engagements with Native Advertising.

Matt Orsini

Matt Orsini is a public relations specialist at MindGeek practicing in the domain of online content marketing. Previously, he served as the Public Relations Manager at Montreal's largest millennial publication online, MTL Blog Inc. Matt established the central Communications Department at MTL Blog Inc./Narcity Media for the MTL Blog and Narcity networks across Canada. As an academic at heart, Matt also conducted independent industry research on the controversial practice of native advertising that began coming to the fore of a new generation of advertising. This research lead Matt to develop his typology of native advertisements, "The Chimera".
