Antoinette Benoit
SVP and CMO, McDonald's

Antoinette Benoit joined McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Limited as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer in March 2014.  Prior to joining McDonald’s Canada, Antoinette held the position of Vice President, Strategy & Insights at McDonald’s Europe.  In this role, Antoinette was a member of McDonald’s European Management Team and Chair of the European Strategy & Insights Leadership Team.

A native of Paris, France, Antoinette joined McDonald’s France in 1997 as Product Manager, Local Store Marketing.  Over her 17 year career at McDonald’s Antoinette has held numerous progressive positions including: Marketing Manager – Kids & Family, Senior Marketing Manager – Brand, Food & Value, and Director – Menu Innovation.  In 2007, Antoinette moved to the European Centre and took on the role of Senior Director – Marketing (Europe). 

Prior to joining McDonald’s Antoinette held product management roles at both Unilever and Colgate Palmolive in France.  In 1990, she graduated from Sciences-Po in Paris and then went on to obtain her Master’s Degree in Political Science and Marketing in 1993.

In addition to her professional leadership, Antoinette is a passionate advocate of diversity and inclusion initiatives across McDonald’s and served as Committee Chair of the European Women’s Leadership Network (EWLN) from 2009 to 2012.  Antoinette and her partner Géry have two children, Clémentine, 14, and Augustin, 11

 


Tara Naz
Senior Vice President, McDonald's

Tara Naz joined McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada in May, 2015 as Director, Strategy & Insights. Tara is a seasoned and award winning Consumer Insights professional with 20 years of industry experience across the United States and Canada. She has spent her career working on iconic brands like McDonald’s, McCafé, Maxwell House Coffee, Cracker Barrel Cheese, and Crystal Light Beverages as well as start-ups like Balance Bar Energy Bars, Tassimo Single Serve Coffee and Tazo Tea. 

Tara is the recipient of 5 David Ogilvy Awards and 3 Market Research & Intelligence (MRIA) awards in recognition of her ability to activate consumer insight into impactful marketing programs.  Tara has a Master’s Degree in Market Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Nielsen Center for Marketing Research.

Tara and her husband, Sonny, have two Happy Meal loving children, Chloe, 6, and Sophie, 3.
